Plant Services
- Crane Services - providing a full range of tower and crawler cranes with full risk assessment and planning services
- Accommodation and Site Services - providing modern, durable accommodation, site engineering services, survey equipment and facilities management
- Trackside Plant and Equipment - providing over 10,000 assets to the rail industry as well as a complete site establishment service
- General and Strategic Plant - comprehensive general operated and self dive plant hire service including innovative strategic plant for bespoke needs

Fleet Services - Balfour Beatty Plant & Fleet Services offer a complete service for both Contract Hire and Fleet Management. We currently supply and manage in excess of 8500 company cars, vans, HGV’s and commercial vehicles, including specialist equipment for road gritting and surface dressing.
About the role
You will commence a two year graduate programme in which you will rotate through the business functions in structured placements lasting between three and six months.
Each placement is designed to ensure you gain experience of a wide range of management activities whilst working on projects that will monitor the delivery and performance of the business. Each activity will present its own challenges and rewards and you will be given plenty of opportunities to bring creative ideas and new approaches to the business.
On-the-job training will be complemented by a tailored training and development plan. In addition you will be allocated a graduate buddy and a senior mentor who will offer support and guidance for the duration of your programme.
Requirements
- Minimum 2:1 degree in a business related subject
Minimum A level grades of C or above
Minimum GCSE grades of B or above in Maths and English
Strong interpersonal skills
People focused skills
Confident leading a team as well as being part of one
Ability to solve problems effectively
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Computer literate
Full UK driving license
All successful candidates will need to satisfy pre-employment checks, including providing proof of their right to work in the UK
